Some good company, a few newspapers and a cup of something enjoyable, what more could you ask for an interesting afternoon? This is a group who like to keep abreast of the news and discuss what they find. They, literally, open a newspaper and discuss .... They like to keep it light and friendly but realise that, at the end of the afternoon, the powers that be are not going to take any notice.
